Tips and Tricks
- Ideal for completing the Vanguard Bounty Overcharge because the entire clip of Pocket Infinity counts as 1 shot.
- A 'missed shot' from the Pocket Infinity appears to mean 'a one-ammo fusion burst where EVEN ONLY ONE of the bolts in the burst missed'. This means that ammo can be returned to the magazine even if some of the burst hit an enemy.
- I'm not really a fan of Fusion Rifles. I usually want a Sniper Rifle as my special weapon but this is one of the most enjoyable weapons in the game. You can just run into a room full of enemies and hold the trigger and *POOM POOM POOM POOM POOM POOM POOM* all that will be left is the ashes of your enemies. The recoil is quite powerful but the perk basically counters any missed shots by giving you more. I recommend using the extended mag perk over the recoil one as having and extra two shots, so you'll have 5 in total. Its more useful with a fully automatic fast firing Fusion Rifle. The "cone pattern" it makes is quite wide so you'll need to be close to your targets but not as close as you need be like with a shotgun.
History
After the release of The Dark Below, Attack of the weapon was increased from 274-300 to 302-331. Players can upgrade old versions of the weapon into the new one by visiting Xur and paying 1 Exotic Shard and some Glimmer.
