Festival of the Lost 2016 is the 2016 Halloween event that began on October 25, 2016 and ended on November 8, 2016. Players can participate in the event by speaking to Tess Everis and Eva Levante.
Activities
- Visit Eva Levante in The Tower to fill Candy Satchels and earn Masks.
- Visit Tyra Karn in the Felwinter Peak to assist with a task.
- Trials of Osiris has become a bit spookier during Festival of the Lost.

Candy Satchels
- Empty Candy Satchel - Players can receive an Empty Candy Satchel from Eva Levante and can hold one Candy Satchel (Full or Empty) in their Inventory at a time.
- Filling the Satchel - Players can fill their Empty Candy Satchel by defeating enemies and earning kills in the Crucible while wearing a Festival of the Lost Mask.
- Gifts of the Lost - Full Candy Satchels can be used to purchase a Mask or a Gifts of the Lost Mystery Bag from Eva Levante. This Mystery Bag contains a randomized assortment of cosmetic consumables and a Festival-themed Shader. Players can view the full list of Guaranteed and Possible rewards for Gifts of the Lost by using the Preview button.
Eververse
- Treasures of the Lost is now available and contains 2016 Masks, Bad Juju Ornaments: Dragonsbane and Hoodoom, S-35 Jealousy, Deviled Ghost, Ghost Ghost and Consumables.
- Once Festival of the Lost ends, the Bad Juju Ornaments will be added to Radiant Treasures.
- Last year's Festival exclusive Emotes Monster Dance, Zombie Dance, and Boo have returned to Eververse.
- Two new limited Emotes are available: Terrify and Howl.
SGA
- Quest for Public Event completions - Archon's Forge instances count towards the quest upon completion.
- Guaranteed Treasure of the Lost Chest upon completion of the FotL questline from Eva Levante. This CAN BE done on all 3 characters so I recommend completing this on all 3 BEFORE purchasing Silver for further chests.
- Strikes - The Chest at the end is STILL a Skeleton Key chest. If opened it gives a chance to drop the Candlelight Shader but that is the ONLY Festival reward you can get from them.
- You CANNOT BUY SPECIFIC ITEMS from Eververse, the items from the Treasure of the Lost chests are RNG exclusive.
- Both the Deviled Ghost and Ghost Ghost can be infused.
- You can find masks with Eva Levante - The Speaker, Cryptarch and Crota masks. Eva Levante stock refresh (On the first refresh of FOTL) HAS NOT changed.
- S-35 Jealousy, Deviled Ghost, Firewolf Mask, Dragonsbane, Hoodoom and Ghost Ghost are available ONLY through Treasure of the Lost chests.
- Sea of Tears Shader IS NOT 'bugged'. It is RNG like the other 3 shaders. Each preview of gear from a Vendor will say 'guaranteed' but it doesn't mean in THAT drop - Looks as though confusion arose as the Shader stands alone in its section.
Tiny Box of Raisins Mini-Quest
- To Start this quest you need a Tiny Box of Raisins. You get this from the beginning quest of Festival of the Lost from Eva Levante. Eris Morn will then give you a Tiny Box of Raisins instead of Candy like everyone else.
- Take the Tiny Box of Raisins to The Speaker. He will let you combine the Tiny Box of Raisins" and 25 Motes of Light to make Ascendant Raisins. (This step can be skipped if you already had a Ascendant Raisins because you kept your old Tiny Box of Raisins from last year.)
- Take the Ascendant Raisins to Zavala and he will let you trade it for Salted Sweets.
- Take the Salted Sweets to Master Rahool (Cryptarch) and he will let you trade it for Winged Chew.
- Take the Winged Chew to Amanda Holliday and she will let you trade them for Splice Drops.
- Take the Splice Drops to Cayde-6 and he will let you trade them for Unchocolate.
- Take the Unchocolate to Eris Morn and she will give you a Bag of Treats.
- Open the Bag of Treats and receive your new Superblack Shader and your delicious Piece of Celery.
Masks

During Festival of the Lost, the Exotic Weapon Ornaments for Bad Juju can be gained by opening Treasures of the Lost which are purchased from Eververse Trading Company. After the Festival of the Lost event has concluded, the Exotic Weapon Ornaments for Bad Juju will be available to be gained by opening Radiant Treasures as described in the Materials tooltip in the weapon preview for Bad Juju.
