NPCs are friendly non-play characters that are found in The Tower, Vestian Outpost and Felwinter Peak. Some NPCs act as Vendors and sell items to the players, while others offer a variety of services such as bounties or Quests.

Bounty Tracker - provides players with bounties

Brother Vance (Disciple of Osiris) - Trials of Osiris NPC found in Vestian Outpost.

Collections - storage terminals in the Tower that keep track of Shaders, Ships, Sparrows, Emblems, Emotes and Exotic Blueprints.

Crucible Handler (Lord Shaxx) - exchanges Crucible Armor for Crucible Marks

Crucible Quartermaster (Arcite 99-40) - exchanges Crucible Weapons and Sparrows for Crucible Marks. Accepts materials for Crucible Marks and Reputation.

Cryptarch (Master Rahool) - sells and identifies Engrams.

Dead Orbit Vendor (Arach Jalaal) - exchanges Dead Orbit Weapons and Armor, Emblems and Shaders for Crucible Marks.

Eris Morn (Crota's Bane) - from the faction Crota's Bane. Assigns special Bounties, sells weapons, armor and other items but requires The Dark Below Expansion.

Eververse Trading Company - sells cosmetic items such as Emotes and Artifact Lens for Silver and Silver Dust.

Future War Cult Vendor (Lakshmi-2) - exchanges Future War Cult Weapons and Armor, Emblems and Shaders for Crucible Marks.

Guardian Outfitter (Eva Levante) - sells Emblems and Shaders for glimmer.

Gunsmith (Banshee-44) - sells Weapons and Ammo Consumables

Hunter Vanguard (Cayde-6) - sells low level Hunter Armor for glimmer. Exchanges high-level Hunter Armor for Vanguard Marks.

Lady Efrideet (Iron Banner Vendor - only available during Iron Banner Events. He exchanges Iron Banner Weapons, Armor, Shaders and Emblems for Glimmer.

Lord Saladin - formerly Iron Banner Vendor, now main NPC of Rise of Iron expansion.

Mara Sov - Queen of the Reef and leader of the Awoken people.

New Monarchy Vendor (Executor Hideo) - exchanges New Monarchy Weapons and Armor, Emblems and Shaders for Crucible Marks.

Petra Venj (Queen's Emissary) - main NPC for House of Wolves and Queen's Wrath faction, found in Vestian Outpost.

Postmaster - delivers engrams that were never picked up by the players.

Shipwright (Amanda Holliday) - sells rare Sparrows and Jumpships.

Shiro-4 - provides Iron Lord Bounties.

Tess Everis (Eververse) - the representative of Eververse. She sells unique cosmetic items such as emotes for silver and Silver Dust.

The Speaker - Exchanges rare Emblems, Warlock Bonds, Titan Marks and Hunter Cloaks for Motes of Light.

Titan Vanguard (Commander Zavala) - sells low level Titan Armor for glimmer. Exchanges high-level Titan Armor for Vanguard Marks.

Tyra Karn - provides Iron Lord Artifacts, decrypts Engrams

Vanguard Quartermaster (Roni 55-30) - exchanges Vanguard Weapons, Armor and Sparrows for Vanguard Marks. Accepts materials for Vanguard Reputation and Vanguard Marks.

Vaults - allows the player to store items and transfer them to characters on the same account.

Warlock Vanguard (Ikora Rey) - sells low level Warlock Armor for glimmer. Exchanges high-level Warlock Armor for Vanguard Marks.

Xur (Agent of the Nine) - appears on weekends. Exchanges Exotic Gear for Strange Coins.
