Reforge

Reforge allows the player to randomly re-roll the perks of the weapon. Players can only reforge Legendary weapons sold by the vendors in The Tower that are introduced after House of Wolves expansion. Players can reforge at the Gunsmith npc. Each reforge costs 1 Mote of Light, 3 Weapon Parts and 250 glimmer. Note that reforge will reset all the purchased perks and exp earned on a weapon. It will even reset Ascend. Iron Banner Weapons can be reforged at the Gunsmith.
- Weapons that can be reforged have a perk named Reforge Ready.
Players can also reforge Iron Banner Weapons and Armor during Iron Banner Events in a similar but separate system.
Weapons cannot be reforged:
- Weapons from before HoW
- Weapons from Prison of Elders and Trials of Osiris.
