The Titan is the "tank" class of Destiny. Titans have 3 subclasses, Striker (Arc), Defender (Void) and Sunbreaker (Solar). Striker is the offensive and solo-oriented subclass while Defender is the defensive and group-oriented subclass. Titans have more armor and defensive capabilities than both Hunter and Warlock.
- You start off as a Striker and unlock Defender at level 15. Note: once you unlock Defender for one character, it will be unlocked for any new Titan characters you make in the future. Sunbreaker was released in The Taken King expansion. It is unlocked after completing the Titan quest ????.
Play Style
Striker can turn her body into the a living artillery with Fist of Havoc super. Striker can disorient her enemies with Flashbang Grenade and go toe to toe with them in close-quarters with Storm Fist.
Defender can create a defensive barrier called Ward of Dawn that protects herself and her allies from enemy fire. Defender is able to disable enemy abilities with Suppressor Grenade and create another shield through Disintegrate.
Titan's jump ability is lift, a jetpack-like skill that boosts the player upward.

Sunbreaker

Training Perks
Gear
Marks are special armor that can only be equipped by the Titan class. While they have no stats, marks allow Titans to further customize themselves and show their ranks and accomplishments.
