Introduction
Vanguard Elite Strike Scoring is an update to all Rise of Iron Vanguard Strike playlists. Vanguard Elite awards points to players as they defeat enemies and progress through Vanguard Strikes, and awards new medals for meeting certain feats.
Functioning similarly to Prison of Elders scoring, Strike scoring gives you a chance to earn rewards and challenge leader boards
Players can also earn reputation in a new Strike scoring for the Vanguard headed up by Zavala, who will also offer bounties.
Basics
- The Vanguard Elite feature, Quests, and Bounties are not limited to the Dawning Live Event, and will continue to be available after The Dawning concludes on January 3rd, 2017 at 01:00 AM Pacific Time.
- Vanguard Elite Quests - Available from Commander Zavala. Available once per week, per Character.
- Strikes in the SIVA Crisis Playlist, SIVA Crisis Heroic Playlist, and Weekly Nightfall now award Medals and feature Strike Scoring
- First weekly completion of the Nightfall provides 1 Skeleton Key per account (NOT per character)
- Zavala is now offering 3 weekly bounties (1 Nightfall, 2 for Strike Scoring playlists – Weekly Elite Bounties)
- Gear will drop up to Light Level 400 from completed Bounties
- The Bounty Robot is now offer 6 daily bounties named Vanguard Elite Bounties which surround feats within Strike Scoring playlists offering Rep and Experience similar to regular Bounties
- 3 Strikes have been reprised: The Nexus, The Shadow Thief, and Will of Crota.
- SIVA Crisis and SIVA Crisis Heroic Playlists now include all platform-available Strikes
- Players can receive one free Treasures of the Dawning each week by completing their first Weekly Heroic Strike
- PLEASE NOTE - The "Bounty Hunter" record book is not bugged. Zavala's weekly bounties do not count, you need to get daily vanguard elite bounties from the bounty tracker.

Strike Scoring Rewards
- Upon completing Zavalas Weekly Elite Nightfall Bounty offering 10,000 Exp, 200 Vanguard Rep, 10 Legendary Marks and Nightfall bounty has a chance of a Weapon and/or the returning ‘ICE BREAKER’
- The remaining 2 Weekly Elite Bounties offer Offering 10,000 Exp, 200 Vanguard Rep, 10 Legendary Marks and a chance at a new Armor set
- The Year 1 shaders that used to be rewards from playlists now have a chance to drop from Vanguard Elite Bounties
