Description The Fallen House of Devils in the Cosmodrome sustain their strength through a single, exalted Servitor known as Sepiks Prime. Find where this keeper of souls lies and destroy him.
The Devils' Lair is a level 6 Strike found in Old Russia, Earth. The activity requires a group of 1 to 3.

Speed Run Tips

  • As soon as the strike starts get on that sparrow and ride! You can ride your sparrow all the way to the room with the three waves. You do not need to stop for the fallen/hive battle going in the hall before that.
  • For the three waves: Memorize where things spawn and kill them when they spawn before they spread out. I like to stand on the railing above the Ghost with a scout rifle. I can clear most waves with headshots as they come out the doors. Don’t have all three people up there though as the captains like to hide.
  • For the walker: Don’t hang in the back. Don’t stand in the middle and dodge his shots. What you want to do is have people on both sides of him in the rooms/hall on his right and the left. Just focus fire on him and he’ll die VERY fast. If you have people on opposite sides of him you will always have someone who has a clear shot. If everyone focuses on one leg at a time they will break so fast the walker will have little time to shoot anyone! This may be hard to coordinate with strangers though.
  • Sepiks Prime is ridiculously easy. Just stand near where you walk in and shoot him in the eye constantly. No need to run and jump around like an idiot. Snipers are good. Heavy weapons are good. If the enemies that spawn bother you, just shoot them quickly. Also, make sure to move if Sepiks teleports on top of your head.

Devil Walker

Attacks

Chain Gun: The devil walker has a bottom mounted chaingun that it has to be facing you to use, only really effective if you're at mid range and on the same level as the walker.

Ion Turret: An automatic firing swivel turret that can target foes the other weapons aren't trained on. This turret has a long range and does medium-high damage, but has a semi-large spread on the projectiles.

Main Cannon: A laser sight appears for several seconds, illuminating the location the main cannon will hit. The projectile itself will one shot you if you're hit, and will do 2/3rds damage if it's a near miss. If you see the laser it's time to move.

Drones: Flying Shrikes pooped out the sides of the walker. The drones change depending on what version of the devil walker you're fighting. The public event drones are much tougher, as they have shields that require a fast firing weapon to take down. These drones often drop ammo. The drones can stack, so if you're not killing them, they can quickly gang up on you.

Grenades: The walker will occasionally drop a series of bouncing grenades out the side. One grenade will do 1/2-2/3rds of your health bar in damage, as it's extremely easy to get comboed by several grenades. Don't stand close to the walker.

EMP Burst: The Walker will stand up a bit, before slaming down and knocking away enemies in a large electric burst. Does moderate damage and knocks you away.

Strategy

Target the legs: Any of the legs will work, but each leg has it's own health bar. You want to make sure you and your teammates are trying to take down the same legs in succession. Each leg destroyed will reveal the core at its neck.

The Core at the neck: You have a limited window of time/shots to hit the core. The core will remain open until you get at least one shot in. This is when you'd want to use rockets/supers. This does much massive damage to the devil walker.

  • At higher difficulty, players should destroy the main cannon because of the massive damage it can do.

Tips and Tricks

Pincher attack: Hopefully there's at least two people attacking the walker. In most cases you'll want to be close enough to each other to easily rez the other person, but far enough apart that the devil walker can't target you both. Don't stand next to each other, ever.

Kill the Drones/Fallen: The easiest way to die is to either get hit by the main cannon, or by letting the other enemies whittle your health down. If you're at less than full health, there are an alarming number of the devil walkers moves that can easily kill you.

Be aware of teammates: Even if you can't save a teammate, they'll automatically respawn in 20 seconds, so just don't die.

Sepiks Prime

Sepiks Prime is a very large Fallen Serivtor type enemy. Its weakness is its central eye, fire at it for critical damage.

Attacks

Eye Blast: A steam of purple projectiles are fired from its Eye. The projectiles are quite fast, be sure to dodge it or find cover.

Strategy

Sepiks Prime often teleport around, avoiding some of your more powerful attacks. When it starts to phase out, do not use grenades or supers at it because you will waste them.

In the boss room there are few spots to the side and in front that offer good cover against Sepiks Prime's attacks. While taking cover, be aware of the Fallen adds that spawn. If you swarmed by adds, jump down to the lower floor and hide under stairs or run into the room be right the boss room.

As you whittle down its health, waves of adds will spawn. You know when they are coming when you see dropships. Take cover from the boss to take care of the adds. If the player is playing with the Epic Mission Modifier active, the Shanks have Solar shields, it would be wise to carry a weapon that deals Solar damage to kill them quickly.

After you killed the boss you can pick up the Gold Chest under the stairs to the right.
