Players can claim all the rewards from the highest tier down. For example if a player reached Gold Tier (8 Wins) for the week, he or she can claim the Gold Tier reward, the weapon, the Silver Tier reward, the armor, the Bronze Tier and Stone Tier rewards. He or she can even purchase the weapon and armor multiple times.

After the release of The Taken King, Year 1 Reward Tiers were replaced by a simpler system. When players win a match, they have a chance of obtaining Weapons, Armor and Other Rewards. The more wins you have on your Trials Passage, the better gear you will earn after winning an IR match. Losing team earns Passage Coin.

Players can obtain following rewards once per week per character:

  • 4 Wins on Trials Passage:
  • 6 Wins on Trials Passage:
  • 9 Wins with no losses on Trials Passage: access to Lighthouse
