Void Damage is one of four damage types that can be inflicted by weapons in Destiny. When damaging an enemy's shield in PvE activities, Void rounds deal 100% of their normal damage values against Arc and Solar shields while inflicting double (200%) damage to Void shields. Note, however, that the
Match Game modifier on Heroic or Nightfall strikes will impose a significant (~75%) damage penalty when facing Arc and Solar shields with this damage type.
