Taken Corruption Chest
Taken Corruption Chest is a chest near chest for Key of Akka. Player attempting to open the chest will gain a debuff called Taken Corruption that will kill the player before the chest is opened. To obtain the chest, players need to kill the Taken nearby, a relic will spawn which makes player immune to the debuff, allowing you to get the chest.
Direction:
When entering the Court of Oryx area (Hall of Souls) from the Mausoleum, it should be the first door on your right/in a tunnel for the Akka chest and then this chest.
There are two ways to open the chest, the offical way with the relic or the inoffical glitch way via your class super. If you dont play the official way, go to the chest location and use your super and open the chest
The official Way
There are three rooms in Hall of Souls where the Hive are random praying. If you find Hive which are praying, kill all and play the event with the taken. The Relic drop is completely random at the end of this taken event.
If you are lucky, you will get the Relic at the first or second event but sometine you need more events. Is just luck.
Take the Relic and go back to the chest location, you and your fireteam have 90 seconds to reach and open the chest, otherwise the relic is gone. If you play with your friends, all Guardians in the near of the relic carrier are save for the damage in the cave, so you need only one relic for all (if you fast enough)
The inofficial Way
Use your class super and open the chest or use the new Swords
Hunter (Bladedancer) Titan (Bubble / Sunbreaker) Warlock (Radiance / Stormcaller)
