Templar
The Templar is an extremely powerful Vex Hydra found in the Vault of Glass. Unlike normal Axis Minds, the Templar is unique in it being a creature out of time, and can thus manipulate reality in according to the Oracles' design. It, along with the Oracles, guards the way to the deeper sections of the Vault.
Gameplay
Unlike normal Hydras, the Templar has a full shield surrounding it. The only way to bring its shield down is using the relic shield's super, though doing so will cause the Templar to detain Guardians inside a harmful red bubble (which should be destroyed with non-explosive attacks). The Templar has a special ability called "Ritual of Negation"; anyone who has been marked for negation, either by oracles or fanatics, is killed instantly once the Templar performs the ritual. This is probably one of the most dangerous abilities to encounter because the fanatics and oracles will spawn in unpredictable intervals. Occasionally, the Templar will attempt to teleport so it can evade incoming gunfire and find another angle of attack.
