Glimmer Farming Guide

The ideal place to farm Glimmer is Mars' Exclusion Zone Story Mission on any heroic difficulty.

After arriving, use your Resupply Codes, the item that increases the amount of glimmer dropped by Cabal enemies. When the door opens, use your Super immediately on the gunship to destroy the gun then toss a grenade at 2 Phalanx that are in the initial wave. The grenade will kill or disable these tanky foes, making them vulnerable to your attacks. Kill the wave quickly to enable 2nd ship to spawn after about 30 seconds. Fighting against the enemies from 2nd ship, leave the 2 Phalanx and the Colossus alive. Instead, kill all majors and ultras. By going into the building on the right your enemies group up, allowing you to kill them quickly. After killing rest of the group, allow the 3 Cabal you left alive to kill you. You need to be against the wall, so Phalanx enemies will not knock you back. After you die, do it again. Make sure you pick up the Supply Codes they drop. Each Supply Codes last 10 minutes, you can repeat this about 3 to 4 times in that time.
