Shank is the floating robot of the Fallen. While Shanks are quite weak individually, they can present a challenge when grouped.

Tactics

Armed with Shock Pistols, Shanks will attempt to float near the player to unleash their shots. Even though they don't have weak points, players can easily dispose of them with weapon fire or melee strikes. Be aware, in strikes and missions with Epic skull modifier, Shanks will have Solar shields that are only weak to weapons dealing Solar damage.

Shanks are the bulldogs of the Fallen. Small and tough enough to go where Dregs won't fit, they scout, keep watch, and patrol. Fallen Walkers deploy Shanks from internal bays for tactical support and field repairs.
