Sleeper Simulant is a level 40 Exotic Fusion Rifle equipped in the Heavy Weapons slot. To unlock the gun, players have to find all the go through a long quest chain. Then bring the relics to Gunsmith to unlock the quest to obtain the weapon.

Unique Exotic Perk: Increases bounce count of projectile to 5.

How to Obtain

1. Players need to obtain 4 Fusion Rifle Relics with the name DVALIN-RAS8711-FR00X, with the X's at the end being a number in accordance to the artifact (1 - 4). Each item can be turned into gunsmith for 200 reputation points and some dialogue. These items are dropped randomly throughout Destiny, in story missions, patrol, strikes etc.

2. On October 7, 2015, if the players have turned in all 4, they unlock the mission The First Firewall on Earth. After defeating a bunch of Taken enemies and completing the quest, players are awarded with a relic named Curious Transceiver.

3. Players need to enter 4 passcodes to activate Curious Transceiver. The 4 passcodes are (1 = top box, 2 = bottom box):

  • 1 2 2 2 1 2 2 2 1 1
  • 1 2 1 2 1 2 1 1

4. After activating the Transceiver, players unlock the mission Shadow Call on Earth. Players will receive a relic named IKELOS Fusion Core for completing the mission.

5. IKELOS Fusion Core requires 5 modules listed below:

  • Heavy Power Coupling - Dismantle any legendary or higher Heavy Weapon.
  • Ionized Shell Harmonics - Complete the Archives mission on Venus on any difficulty.
  • WARSAT//MK19/TERRA/RSPN - Complete a "Defend the Warsat" public event on Earth.
  • WARSAT//MK19/LUNA/RSPN - Complete a "Defend the Warsat" public event on the Moon.
  • WARSAT//MK19/MARS/CHLM - Complete a "Defend the Warsat" public event on Mars.

Perks

Starting Perks

Projectile over-penetrates enemies and will ricochet once. Projectile capable of dealing precision damage.

Sights

CQB Ballistics, Linear Compensator, Accurized Ballistics

Special Perks

Just a Scratch - Reduces aim deflection on incoming rounds while you're aiming with the weapon. Helps the wielder stay on target during the long charge up.

Optional Perks

Speed Reload, Perfect Balance, Single Point Sling

Unique Exotic Perk

??? - Increases bounce count of projectile to 5.

Tips and Tricks

  • A charged up blast from the weapon is able to penetrate multiple enemies and ricochet off walls up to 5 times.
