Speed Run Tips

  • Get on that sparrow and ride! Except this one has a Dinklebutton you need to push first. On this one you can actually ride your sparrow all the way to the three generals section. I find this is not a good idea because it usually blows up in the first room with a bunch of enemies. This room can still be skipped and I recommend skipping it just because Cabal take so long to kill. Just jump around everything and get to the door in the back left. It will open.
  • Three generals: Don’t get on an interceptor unless you intend to splatter everything. Just pull out your sniper here it is faster. When the tank comes, use snipers and shoot it. Make sure to shoot when it is still in the air for extra speediness.
  • Valus Ta’aurc is a pain in the butt because he dishes out a bunch of damage and has a mini-head. Luckily he goes full retarded when he is on low health. Once again, the key here is just to focus on shooting his head as much as possible. One good strategy for this is to stand on the upper platforms. If you stand far enough back (until you can’t see his gun) his machine gun will not hit you but you still have a clear shot at is head…just watch out for rockets. Once he starts chasing you, lure him to a spot where his rockets just hit the ceiling so you can just focus on his beady little head. Also make sure you entire team is spread out, but on the same side of the map. This way your whole team can always see his head but his fire is still divided.

Goliath Tank

This gigantic tank's weakspot is its 4 engines. Fire at them for critical damage.

Attacks

Charge Mines: When Goliath Tank dashes forward and towards a player, it releases a number of containers from its back. These containers break open in air, releasing 6 mines that adhere to the floor and burst after a while. The mines also explode if players get close to them. These mines are effective against Interceptors. Note that players can fire at the mines to make them detonate prematurely.

Engine Flame Out: If players get too close, Goliath Tank spawns streams of fire from its 4 engines and damages all players nearby.

Flak Turrets: These turrets are located in front of the boss, these turrets will shoot at players who are close to the boss or when they are jumping. Players can destroy these turrets.

Front Turrets: Front turrets are 2 cannons attached directly in front of the Tank. The cannons will fire at players who are close to the tank. Players can destroy these cannons.

Machine Gun Side Turrets: These turrets are the small turrets at the side of the tank. They will only fire when the main cannon is not firing. It will fire at the player if you get close to the tank. Players can destroy this turret.

Main Cannon: Goliath Tank's main gun fires a fast moving projectile every 5 to 10 seconds. The cannon can turn separately from the tank, meaning that the tank can fire its Main Cannon at players who are not in front of it. Listen for the pre-fire cannon noise to move and avoid the explosion. It deals extra damage to an Interceptor.

Side Missile Batteries: When you are at medium range or closer, these batteries will open up and fire 3 tracking missiles per volley. It fires once every 5 seconds. Players can blow up the missiles while they are in air and destroy the batteries.

Strategy

The boss fight takes place in a wide-open, outdoor field. The Goliath Tank's Main Cannon deals massive damage to Interceptors, so be careful. When you are far away from the tank, pay attention to the noise of its Main Cannon to dodge it.

  • Focus fire on its 4 engines.

If your Interceptor is on fire, eject to save your life. Without a vehicle, hide behind cover and peak out occassionally to fire your Heavy Weapons against the boss.

If you get close to the tank, be sure not to jump or Flak Turret will deal a lot of damage to you. Get away from the Boss ASAP if you see flames coming out of its engines because it is about to use its Engine Flame Out attack.

Tips and Tricks

Valus Ta'aurc

Valus Ta'aurc is a gigantic Colossus Cabal type enemy. Its weakspot is its head. Fire at it for critical damage.

Attacks

Heavy Gatling Gun: This weapon fires rapidly. It forces the players to take cover or face dire consequences.

Rocket Barrage: Valus can fire a volley of 5 rockets at high angle. These rockets will track their targets so if you see them flying towards you, be sure to move away from the area.

Stomp: When players are really close to the boss, it will perform a ground stomp and knocking all players back away while dealing heavy damage.

Strategy

Avoid his Gatling gun fire and rockets. Fire at him and try to hit his head for extra damage. When he fires rockets at you, make sure you move away ASAP. Adds will spawn from the sides of the arena. Kill the adds when you need to avoid getting overpowered. Players should spread out to not only divide the boss' attention but also making the players less likely to all get surrounded by adds.

  • If both of your teammates are dead, let them respawn through the timer. Only resurrect them when it is safe.
