- Black Spindle is a Year 2 Exotic Weapon released in The Taken King expansion.
How to Acquire
During the Lost to Light on Heroic (Light 240), when you get to the door to the Ketch, located in the room with the Hive Seeder, same location as The Shadow Thief. If the door is closed, you either didn't get there fast enough or your fireteam has wiped. Your fireteam can die but cannot wipe. In order to access the ketch you need to speed run after collecting the soul fragment all the way to the door with the first relic. DO NOT scan the door before picking up the relic. Just pick up the relic and put it on the door. Keep moving through and get to the third area. You do NOT need to place any relics in the third area. Players have 10 minutes to clear the Taken in the Ketch to obtain the weapon.

- Infusion - Consume a more powerful Weapon to boost the Attack value of this Weapon.

- Ambush SLH25 - Agile, snappy scope. Handles beautifully. Rewards a skilled hand.
- TacSys SLS15 - Mid-zoom scope. Useful for unpredictable situations.
- Hawkeye SLR15 - Mid-zoom precision scope. Increased range and target acquisition. Heavy.
Column 3
- White Nail - Three consecutive precision hits in rapid succession will refill the magazine.
Column 4
- Snapshot - Aiming this weapon is incredibly fast.
- Flared Magwell - Reload this weapon even faster.
- Perfect Balance - This weapon has extremely low recoil.

- Mulligan - Missing a shot has a chance to return ammo directly to the magazine.
