Weapon Upgrades are addons that enhance or customize the stats and attributes of the weapons. Uncommon or rarer weapons gain Experience Points when players use the weapons. As the weapons gain EXP, upgrades will be unlocked. Players can "learn" these upgrades by spending certain currencies such as Glimmer.

Arc Double-Down | Increased Agility for 5 seconds after an Arc double kill. |
Arc-Forged Guard | Use to guard. Effective against Solar and Void attacks, less effective against Arc attacks. |
Armor Piercing Rounds | These iridium-core rounds overpenetrate targets. Their mass slows down weapon handling. |
Army of One | Unassisted kills with this weapon reduce grenade and melee cooldown. |
Ascend | Increases the Light and Defense values of this armor to the highest in Year 1. |
Aspect Swap | This weapon can select between two different types of elemental damage. |
