Touch of Flame is a Miscellaneous Sunsinger upgrade. It allows the player's grenade to ignite enemies, dealing solar damage over time. The DoT ticks for 5 times. In PvP, it deals 7 damage per tick. In PvE, it deals 49 damage per tick on regular enemies, 45 damage per tick on majors and 41 damage per tick on ultras. Touch of Flame also applies to Brimstone explosions. If you have Radiance active and if you are using a Solar weapon, you will ignite enemies with your weapon fire.
Tips and Tricks
- It only triggers the Ignite side-effect effect of Scorch but not its melee exclusive Flame Shield or Brimstone upgrades.
- It can be paired with Viking Funeral for more burn damage.
- Ideal if you wanna lob a lot of grenades and ignite enemy players or monsters.
- Only the initial damage burst can trigger Touch of Flame. A Solar Grenade's Damage over Time field will not Ignite. You must hit an enemy with its first, non-DoT pulse of damage.
