Unlike other Exotic Weapons, the Khvostov 7G-0X does not have a singular Exotic perk. Instead, the weapon is able to change its firing mode to emulate an auto rifle, pulse rifle, or scout rifle. Note that while configuring the Khvostov appropriately does alter its impact statistic, the resulting damage per bullet is significantly lower than that of the archetypes it seeks to emulate.

- Classic Scope - Original Khvostov scope. Optimized for range and stability.
- Modernized Scope - Modern scope. Grants additional zoom and target acquisition.
Selectable Perk 2
- Automatic - Sets firing behavior to fully automatic.
- Burst Fire - Sets firing behavior to burst.
- Semi-Auto - Sets firing behavior to semi-automatic with higher muzzle velocity.

- Hammer Forged - Improved range and accuracy.
- Rifled Barrel - Increased range. Slower reload.
- Braced Frame - Increased stability. Reduced magazine size.
Selectable Perk 4
- Extended Mag - A larger magazine.
- Counterbalance - This weapon has increased stability.
- Rangefinder - Aiming this weapon increases its effective range.
Selectable Perk 5
- 450 RPM - Sets firing behavior at 450 RPM. Grants bonus range.
- 900 RPM - Sets firing behavior at 900 RPM. Grants bonus stability.
