April Update is a free update for all The Taken King players released on April 12, 2016. Speak to Variks in Vestian Outpost to undertake the new challenges.
- Max Light Level is increased to 335.
- The Prison of Elders is updated to level 41 and Challenge of the Elders at Light level 330.
- Elder's Sigil tracks Challenge of the Elders, consecutive boss waves with different modifiers.
- New quest with Blighted Chalice strike.
- Higher level gear from activities such as King's Fall, Court of Oryx, Iron Banner and Trial of Osiris.
- More Vault space.
