Nova Bomb is the super ability for the Voidwalker. Player fires the Nova Bomb at the direction of your aim. It causes a massive explosion on contact. The explosion deals damage to all enemies in a 9 meter radius. The further away they are from the epicenter the less damage they take.
Nove Bomb travels similar to the projectile of a Rocket Launcher albeit moves slower and travels in a downward trajectory. During the casting animation, players can still change their aim. Players also gain significant damage resistance during their casting animation. The projectile will explode upon contact with any player, enemy or surface.
Tips and Tricks
- Nova Bomb travels in a trajectory that is similar to a grenade, albeit the Bomb feels "heavier".
- It is useful for clearing out a large group of weak enemies.
- Players can upgrade Nova Bomb into with Shatter and Vortex to do additional AoE damage or control specific locations. For example, players can use the upgraded Nova Bomb to seal off certain coridors in PvP.
- Players can reduce the cooldown of the ability by stacking Intellect.
