Precision Kills are kills obtained by the player when she hits the enemy in its weak spot. As opposed to white damage numbers of normal hits, Weak spots hits are indicated by yellow damage numbers.
For most humanoid enemies in PvE and enemy player in PvP, Precision Kills are headshot kills. In order to trigger Precision Kill activated abilities, players need to hit the weak sport (head for humanoids) in the killing blow.
- If the enemy has a shield, players cannot deal precision kill until the shield has been removed.
- For Vex enemies, you need to fire at their stomachs, not heads, for precision kills.
