Radiant Skin is an upgrade of Sunsinger's Radiance. The upgrade reduces even more incoming damage to the player while Radiance is active. Increases your damage resistance by an additional 20% while you are in Radiance.
Tips and Tricks
- Tested against the Knight in The World's Grave with the same armor, it took 6 shots to take my shield down normally and 12 shots to take my shield down while Radiant. Obviously, there is some slop in that measurement as it's hard to tell exactly how much "spilled over". But from inspection, the bar looked to rest at the same place. This means that Radiant Skin approximately doubles the amount of damage you can take.
- It is the best Radiance for soloing in The Crucible or PvE.
- This can be great if you're an aggressive/offensive player. It allows you to take more damage with radiance up which comes in handy because whenever you turn into a walking ball of fire...people tend to notice, and they will focus fire you down. Unfortunately it's not too hard to kill a warlock with Radiance up, which makes this upgrade really useful.
