Hydra is a floating, snake-like Vex creature with a rectangular shield that constantly protects its front. The Shield is indestructible and prevents all damage to the area behind the shield. Hydra's weakspot is its "Eye".
Tactics
Players can fire at Hydra's "Eye" to do precision damage. Hydra has a rectangular shield that constantly rotates to its front. The Shield is indestructible and prevents all damage to the area behind the shield. Players can attempt to flank the Hydra and fire at it from its sides or rear. Players can also fire at above or below the shield to hurt the area of Hydra that is unprotected by it.
- Hydra is a lot easier to kill in a group. 1 Player can distract the Hydra and get the shield aim at her then other players can fire at the Hydra from its flanks.
Hydra will explode when it is defeated, don't get too close.
Lore
- Main article: Hydra (Grimoire Card)
The Hydra is a miniature fortress. Despite its physical slowness, it is a rapid processor of the data fed to it by other Vex, and what it lacks in mobility it makes up for in impregnable defenses and rock-melting firepower.
