Mote of Light is a currency that increases the player's Light stat, allowing the player to level beyond 20.
- Higher level allows the player to do greater damage to high level enemies.
Mote of Light is obtained by earning experience points after reaching the maximum level of 20. After reaching level 20, your character's experience bar is replaced by a Mote of Light bar. When the player earns experience points, the bar fills up. When the bar becomes full, the player earns 1 Mote of Light.
Mote of Light can be used to purchase endgame gear and other items from the vendor named The Speaker in The Tower.
