Control is one of the PvP modes in The Crucible. In this mode, 12 players are split into 2 teams and battle each other to control strategic zones and kill enemy players to win the match. By participating in Control the player will earn Crucible Marks, Crucible Gear and Crucible Reputation.
- This mode is similar to Domination in other FPS games.

Objective
The team will gain points for each enemy player killed. The team will gain more points per kill the more flags it is holding.
Flags Holding | Points per Kill |
---|---|
0 | 100 |
1 | 150 |
2 | 200 |
3 | 300 |
With no flags, the team earns 100 points for each kill. When the team is holding 1 and 2 flags, it earns 150 and 200 points per kill. If the team controls all 3 flags, it gains a massive 300 points per kill.
The first team that reaches 20,000 points or the team that has the highest points when the time is up wins the match.
