- Assigned by Petra Venj in Vestian Outpost and released in the The Taken King expansion (Year 2).
Locations:
- The Citadel on Ishtar Sink, Venus
- The Hollows on Meridian Bay, Mars
Text Walkthrough (Venus Location)
- A fireteam is recommended but not necessary - select patrol Venus on Venus
- The Blighted Descendant is located in the Citadel area and the final boss of the taken public event
- After your landing, drive left side in the next area called "The Ember Caves", here you go immediately to the right and follow the path to the Citadel area.
- You get a message in the left bottom corner when the events starts (Taken forces are corrupting the area)
- Take out the Lieutenant (invisible captains) immediately after the spawn
- There are 3 Lieutenants total and they spawn one after another
- After the 3 Lieutenants are killed, The Blighted Descendant spawns with a message (Darkness rises! A Taken zealot arrives to claim you)
- Kill The Blighted Descendant and the Taken Bounty is solved
Mars Location
- select patrol mars and after your landing turn left in the tunnel and you will reach as next the area called "The Hollows", from here follow the steps from the Venus location. The 3 Lieutenants are visible on Mars.
