Tips and Tricks
- Tripmine's explosion is an outward cone.
- Place it on flat surfaces and avoid rough terrain can maximize its effect.
- Narrow corridors, turns and entrance ways are all good places for mine placement.
- As of update 2.3.0 (13 June, 2016) Tripmines can no longer stick to a enemy if it lands on one. It used to deal additional damage if it sticks to one.
- Pulses of light indicate the presence of the Tripmine Grenade.
- If the Tripmine has a whitish light it is a friendly Tripmine.
- In PvE you can use it as an alternative to a normal grenade.
- These things are as versatile as your imagination. I've killed players by baiting them into the mine, and even stuck them onto pikes trying to harass me. Be accurate and imaginative, and this is by far the BEST grenade in your arsenal.
