Glimmer is the main currency in Destiny. Glimmer is shared between all of your characters. Players can have a maximum of 25,000 Glimmer per account. There are consumable items such as Black Wax Idol that increase the Glimmer dropped by a specific type of enemies for a short time.

- Looted from chests
- Completing Bounties
- Completing Story Missions, Strikes etc.
Used For
- Purchase Weapon Upgrades and Armor Upgrades
