General Information
The Hunter class is the agile and precise class in Destiny. Hunters are divided into 3 subclasses: Gunslinger (Solar), Bladedancer (Arc) and Nightstalker (Void). Gunslingers are more ranged oriented, with exceptional damage and accuracy. Bladedancers are melee focused, excelling in group and close-quarters combat. While Hunters have less armor and recovery than both Titan and Warlock, they have much higher agility.
- As a Hunter, you start off as a Gunslinger and unlock Bladedancer at level 15. Note that once you unlock Bladedancer for one character, it will be unlocked for any new Hunter characters you make in the future. Nightstalker was released in The Taken King expansion. It is unlocked after completing the Hunter quest The Nightstalker's Trail.
