Emotes are cosmetic actions players can activate by hitting the d-pad buttons on the controller.
Equipping Emotes: After the release of The Taken King and start of Year 2, players can change and equip new emotes from their Inventory menu. Players can only have 1 emote equipped at a time. They can activate the emote by pressing the left arrow on dpad (default is pointing).
First new emotes are awarded to players who have purchased the Collector's Edition of TTK. 3 new class specific dance Emotes are given to the players.
Year 1
Default Emotes:
- Greet - Up arrow
- Dance - Down arrow
- Pointing - Left arrow
- Sit - Right arrow
Note that different races and gender have different versions of the same Emote.
