Emotes are cosmetic actions players can activate by hitting the 4 d-pad buttons on the controller.
Default Emotes:
- Greet - Up arrow
- Dance - Down arrow
- Pointing - Left arrow
- Sit - Right arrow
Note that different races and gender have different versions of the same Emote.
Equipping Emotes: After the release of The Taken King and start of Year 2, players can equip new emotes in their Inventory menu.
First new emotes are awarded to players who have purchased the Collector's Edition of TTK. 3 new class specific dance Emotes are given to the players.
