Defender is the defensive subclass of Titan. Defender specializes in supporting and soaking up damage for her teammates. Her Super ability is Ward of Dawn. The ability creates a shield that prevents you and your allies from taking damage for a short time.
Shape Void Light into an indestructible shield to protect you and your allies from harm.
Abilities

| Disintegrate | Melee Abilities | Killing an enemy with this powerful melee attack creates a Force Barrier around you which absorbs incoming damage. |
| Lift | Jumps | Jump and then press (X) or (A) again while in the air to activate lift. |
| Magnetic Grenade | Grenades | A grenade that attaches to enemies and explodes twice. |
| Spike Grenade (Defender) | Grenades | A grenade that attaches to any surface and emits a torrent of damaging Void Light. |
| Suppressor Grenade | Grenades | An explosive grenade that prevents enemies from using abilities for a short time. |
| Ward of Dawn | Supers | Shape Void Light into an indestructible shield to protect you and your allies from harm. |

| Illumination | Seal this Subclass, locking previous choices. |
| Iron Harvest | Heavy Weapon kills have a chance to create Orbs of Light for your allies. |
| Relentless | Increases the duration and strength of the shield created by Disintegrate. |
| Untouchable | Reduces the cooldown time of Ward of Dawn. Increases Armor by 1. |
