Patrol is one of the game modes that allows the player to roam freely through a specific section of a plant. During the exploration, players can accept Beacon missions by interacting with the blinking green beacons. They can also encounter random public events or find Treasure Chests and other material.

Players' friends can join them throughout their exploration. They are also joined seamlessly by random players from their console network.

Year 3 / Plaguelands

To unlock Patrol for Plaguelands, you need to complete the Rise of Iron Main story missions: Rise of Iron (Quest).
